This year is my first time being introduced to the use of blogs and wiki's,at first I thaught it was going to be complicating and hard but it's easy.I enjoyed making my own blog and being able to write anything I want,I like the fact that I can share my thaughts with people who are interested in me and want to see what I have to say.

I am so glad that this class is almost done,I did all my assignments so I know that I passed,it's just a good feeling of achievment I have,I know im one step closer to getting my degree.I cant wait to walk on the stage and get my diploma,its going to be such a great feeling,oh class is over,got to go

flu season

My poor son,I had to take my oldest in to see the doctor last week because he had a bad throat infection,of course it wasn't going to take long for my youngest son to catch it,aww i felt so bad,it seemed like he had a hard time breathing and his so young i cant tell him to clear his throat,It upset me because I waited over two hours to see the doctor and then when it was time for him to see the doctor he never even gave him any medication,so now i got two sick babies at home,i came to class so i can escape the stress and just relax and get some work done here.It was so nice out today i wanted to go for a walk with the boys but i was afraid I might make them worse by being in the cold air,I cant wait for summer to get here hopefully it will be a nice summer and not rainy all the time.Im so sick of percepatation(if thats how you spell it),

Brody's B-day

Today was my sons first birthday,it was such a hectic day,i felt like I was going to explode,i wish i had an electrical robot who could take over all the house chores.I was so proud of my son,he started walking yesterday,his a bit wobbley but his doing good,my oldest son didn't start walking until he was 15 months.I couldn't get my digital camera to work,ugh it got me soo mad because I wanted to capture these memories,he was dressed so nice,suit and a tie,aww I loved it.It felt like I had to rush because I had class at 6 but we were meeting for 5 and the party started at 4,all in all the party went good.Brody got 85 bucks,so his going shopping tomorrow.

First Hot Day,seventeen degrees!!

It was so nice out today,it was seventeen degrees,aww i loved it,My son had a doctors appointment this morning in moncton so we went to that but when we got home it was noon so i decided to take him out for a walk,he loved it,usually he sleeps when i take him out but he stayed up the whole time.I've been waiting for nice wheather to get here,it seems like it took years.Me and brody went to go visit his great grandmother and his grandmother,they love it when he shows up.My grandmother and aunt got back from flordia on sunday so they got me and my family gifts,Owen got a wet suit with a built in life jacket,outfit,hat,and brody got a mickey mouse plush toy,outfit and a hat,they both look so cute in them with mickey ears.So today is the first time it's been this hot out,i think its time I make walking an everyday habit,i've complained so much about this coldness,anyways this is all I got to say today

Beutiful Day

Today was a good day for me,my oldest boy went to day care so I had extra time for myself.The sun was out and it was warm out,I went for a walk with Brody,the only downfall about being outside was the mudd,my driveway isn't paved so i got a driveway full of mud,its so bad that no one wants to pull in with there cars,i hate it because when I get home from somewhere I have to get my shoes and pants all muddy.Other than that I went to visit my friend heather,It felt like I havent seen her forever because I've been in my house all winter.I got my house work out of the way too so that made me feel like i got something accomplished,lol,i like when I get my housework done because I just enjoy being in a clean home.Well I guess thats all I have to say for today.

Spring is here

I am so tired of this snow,I want nice weather to come quick.I feel like im trapped in my house,spring and summer are my favorite seasons because you get to enjoy the outdoors,the only downfall about warm weather is bugs and mosquitos.I love summers because I live right by the ocean and I can swim when ever I want.My kids are getting a little older so I know where going to be at the beach a lot this summer because my kids love the water,my plans for this summer is to pack a lunch and head down to the beach and hang out all day,both of my boys are light skinned so im going to have to watch out for sun burns and pile of the sunblock.

Banning Plastic Bags

This morning on the documentry channel I watched a film about plastic bags.I couldn't believe how bad they are to our wildlife,in india it showed a cow that was sick and the vet was cleaning out it's stomach and they pulled out 20 pounds of plastic from this animal,the streets are full of garbage and the animals try and eat it.The bags are a perfect breeing ground for mosquitos because the water doesn't go through them and they form puttles,there is so much disease because the sewers get clogged up and all the germs are being exposed to the people.The mosquitos pass on malaria to the people so this is where a lot of it comes from.They are banning certain types of plastic there,the cops will literally go through the market and seize these bags and they also get fined big bucks,I think they should ban plastic bags everywhere.It showed a team of vets who get sick turtles off the shore and when they open up the turtles inside they have bags attatched to there organs,the turtles think the bags are jellyfish and when they eat them this is what causes them to die.A woman went scuba diving and on the ocean floor she picked up more than 50 bags,these poor animals are suffering because of us as humans littering,I was so shocked with this film,it made me look at the use of bags in a total different perspective.In a lot of countries bags are being banned,I hope that this happens here,I baught 5 reusable bags from the grocery store,I plan on making a change and I talked to my family about doing the same,it's good for our environment and wildlife,I really hope that other people will make a change for the better,something needs to be done before it's to late.

My Easter weekend

This easter was a quiet one for me,we didn't get to do much because the boys were both sick,owen Jon didn't bother looking for his eggs,once he found the basket of toys thats all he wanted.My youngest brody is still to young to understand anything but he had fun with his brothers toys,owen got 2 transformers to finish off his collection,he got a poster of transformers,clothes,dvd's;101 dalmatias and Ferngully,he got bubble gum eggs and chocolate,and he got a bubble gun,it shoots out bubble's.Brody got clothes,a stuffed rabbit and a chocolate bunny but I never gave it to him,his still to young.I was happy we got to spend out easter together as a family.

Storm Dayz

Today is wednesday and we got another storm,im really getting tired of all this snow.I feel so stuck in my house,i dont have a vechile so i feel like im cooped up in the house all day,atleast this spring i can go for walks with my kids and start visiting all my friends.I've been having computer trouble and it is starting to get on my nerve's but i figured out how to let one of my friends help me out while there home on there computer,this is good for me because i use my computer a lot and i didn't feel like taking it anywhere.The program is called remote assistance,so i had to set the time for how long im going to allow them into my computer and i had to make a password for him and me so that no one else can try and hack into my computer,I really found this to be good technology,i never knew i could do that and it made me feel smart,lol,you learn something new everyday.

Storm Week(these are my blog postings for the week of feb10-15)

This week was full of storms,both of our classes were cancelled,monday was a snowy day and wednseday was so icy,I didn't enjoy myself,I love going to class because its my break from the kids.Im so glad the power didn't go out,we had a bad exsperience with the power outage last month,it was out for 3 days.That was a tough time because we didn't have heat,running water,or nothing to cook our food,thank god my aunt has a stove that runs off gas,she cooked for us,we ended up staying at my grandmothers house because she has a wood stove,and she had a water cooler so thats where we got our water,I had to warm the babys bottles on the woodstove,we kept thinkin the power was going to come on any minute,minutes turned into hours and hours turned into three damn days,finally the last night before the power came on we went to my boyfriends mothers house in Elsipogtog,the next morning around 9 we got a call saying it was back on,I was so happy to be back home in my bed,I realized how much I take everything for granted,running water,heat,my fridge,lol,my food would of ruined if I didn't put it outside in the snow,I had to make sure it was wrapped up so no dogs would get into it,but down here in Indian Island its the cats you have to worry about,they always get into my garbage,it can be a bother.

Valentine's Day

Today me and my family had a little get together,everyone brought something to eat,like a little potluck.It was so nice,i really enjoyed myself,and so did my kids.It was nice that everyone showed up,we gave out little treat bags.My aunt came down to visit and we all took family photo's.It was really slippery outside to,lol,i have to laugh because while we were leaving from my grandmothers my little cousin was getting ready to take a picture of my son owen and he fell so she got a picture of him in the air,its so cute.Anyways I had a nice valentine's day and I hope all of you guys did too!

my trip to the doctors...Feb 6/08

My day started at 7 am,I woke up,got myself ready,got my kids ready,fed them breakfast,and we were out the door before 8 am.I had to take both of them to see the doctor.They were both sick,coughing all night,waking up crying with fevers,this is a mothers nightmare,to have both of your kids sick at the same time.Anyways we made it to the doctors office by nine and they were in and out right away,my oldest son had to get antibiotics because he has a throat and ear infection,and my youngest baby is just teething so he just got a cough syrup and advil for the pain.It is such a relieve for me,I was worried that my oldest son was gettin pneumonia.I had to keep owen home from daycare,so i never got my break today,I love it when he goes to daycare because it gives me a good break,even though im still home with my youngest,I find it easier.So we got home by 10 and from there i put cartoons on for them and i started house work,by 12 we all had a nap until 3,I love nap time.I left for class at 4:30 thinking it started at 5,come to find out it didn't start until 6,this was kind of dissapointing for me because we did the same thing on monday,so now im making sure I dont make this mistake again.So this was my boring day,I hope you guys enjoyed reading about it. :)

my thaughts about technology

The first time I played around with a computer was when i was twelve,i tryed out a chat line and it took me a while to catch on.I got my own personal computer five years ago in 2003,thats when i really got the hang of it.When i was in high school I took a computer course,that taught me a few things like how to delete old files,defrag,basic stuff.In this lifetime technology is everywhere,my children are going to know more about technology then I ever did because like I said technology is everywhere,I never grew up with a computer in my home until i was 12,so I never had access to turn on a pc and fool around,surf the web,chat,email,play games,I was always scared to break the thing.My children are going to have access anytime they want,there growing up now with a computer in there home now ,I let my son go on and play games on the tree house website,that never exsisted when i was a toddler.I love technology,it makes life so much easier,you can sit at home and pay your bills from your computer.If someone was to tell this to my mom 30 years ago she would of thaught they were crazy,technology is changing everything and i love change.
